“The Alpha Gamma Delta Ritual is extremely important to our chapter as it unites us in sisterhood. It is a reminder of the strong women who built this Fraternity and sets us apart as purposeful women.

We highly value academics, sisterhood, philanthropy, and leadership. Our members include women from every college on campus, and come from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Delta Gamma encourages an atmosphere which will foster the high ideals of friendship among college women, promote their educational and cultural interests, create in them a true sense of social responsibility, and develop in them the best qualities of character.

Delta Gamma (DGs) is considered a mid-tier sorority almost everywhere across the country. The reputation of DG is that they are classy, supportive of each other, focused on “girl-power,” and heavily involved in campus activities. DGs tend to enjoy a level of respect among other sororities and fraternities.

The ranking and tier list of specific sororities is typically based on people's popular opinions. Each university has its own method of ranking certain houses; sometimes based on house status, the philanthropic and academically-driven nature of sorority houses, or unfortunately on a superficial standard.

Sorority is latin and has no Greek meaning. Fraternity, on the other hand, means either brother or sister. Also, because Alpha Gamma Delta is a member of the National Panhellenic Conference and "Panhellenic" means "all Greek" and therefore we must be a Greek organization.
